Blade of Secrets is a fantasy adventure story about a girl who can make magical weapons. When she accidentally makes a weapon so powerful it could destroy the world, she and her sister go on the run from the Warlord who commissioned it. Along the way they pick up a scholar and a mercenary. Action, adventure, and sweet romance follow. The main character's social anxiety makes the story more complex, and you will find yourself rooting for her and her sister. Recommended for high school and middle school libraries.
